Good news. One of the South Coast’s most prestigious agencies is opening the doors of its digital marketing team to one brand new member. If you’re a bright, ambitious and committed digital marketing specialist with a penchant for PPC, an admiration of analytics or a soft spot for SEO, then this could be a really nice move for you.
What you’ll be doing
We are being quite flexible in terms of exactly what the job will be depending on the person who best fits the agency. The initial thinking is that you’ll be working closely with the Head of PPC and will be acting as a PPC specialist – handling paid search campaigns across Google and Bing as well as paid social, retargeting, display and broader biddable media – owning this activity end-to-end. If you bring broader skills to the table that would be wasted otherwise, we could also look at you supporting across the broader team, specifically in organic SEO (technical and content-driven) or on the Digital PR / social media side of it. Either way, PPC will form a key part of your role here.
What experience you’ll need
We’re looking at a solid level of experience (most likely around 2 years or more) of hands-on PPC management, ideally built up agency side (although a hands-on and fast paced inhouse role is also fine). You’ll be a dab hand across AdWords and Google Analytics as a base level, but ideally will also have exposure to broader platforms like Doubleclick, paid social platforms and Bing. You’ll need to be driven by a real passion for this world and will be forever reading, learning and staying abreast of new developments in digital marketing.
If you’re ideally looking at a broader role in the team, you’ll bring solid skills across SEO – the more technical the better – or digital PR / social media / influencer engagement.
