My client, a rapidly growing company in the education sector are looking to add a Product Manager to their staff-force, to be responsible for the life-cycle of their content-based products. The role is focused around increasing profitability of existing products, together with developing, launching and reviewing new products and their success on the market.
Good communication is essential with this position in defining requirements for product development with the Content team, the go-to-market strategy with Tactical Marketing and also product positioning with Sales. The role will require a Product Manager proven in their success in previous roles, and with bags of experience!
The ideal Product Manager will:
·Lead New Product Development and Customer Value Propositions
·Manage full product life-cycle
·Co-ordinate market research and specify requirements for current/future projects
·Develop/Implement go-to-market plan
·Build and present business cases to Senior Management
·Coordinate information with tactical marketing, content and sales
The successful Product Manager:
·Will be self-motivated and be 'bigger picture' minded
·Has to have proven results in bringing new products to market
·Must be persuasive, and confident presenting to board level
·Will be an excellent communicator - essential in this role
·Should be educated to degree level, in marketing or a related field
