This is a permanent role offering £22K-25K for the right candidate with a 10K commission structure (uncapped) plus weekly incentives

As a business development representative, you’ll have a very specialised role and be a very active member joining our growing Sales/Marketing team in London. There are heaps of opportunity to learn and grow in the business. You will be responsible to the outbound marketing manager, who will provide all the necessary guidance and training needed to ensure you settle in swiftly, feel at home, and carry out your role effectively.

This role, focused on outbound prospecting is suitable for someone very focused and goal driven. You will spend much of the day on the phone, making outbound calls to prospects and building out the sales pipeline
 

Day-to-day activities will include:

  1. Generating high quality leads through a mixture of cold calling and marketing email campaigns
  2. Scheduling daily meetings with prospects for the sales team in line with your targets
  3. Understand Signal’s offerings and effectively communicate and apply them to each prospect’s needs
  4. Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity and prospect information in SalesLoft and Salesforce, including comprehensive and up-to-date client information
  5. Achieve and exceed monthly targets
  6. Work closely with the whole marketing team to achieve team goals
  7. Provide continual input to the sales and marketing teams in order to refine positioning and adapt to new market opportunities
  8. Explore and suggest new target markets that the company may not have been initially prospecting
  9. Suggest new ways to build your own network to attract prospects
  10. Carrying out ad-hoc tasks as and when needed

  14. Have a strong interest in tech, and the ability to clearly explain even the more complicated ideas to a non-technical audience
  15. Great presentation skills with good attention to detail
  16. Fast worker (we work in a very busy start-up environment)
  17. Knowledge of Salesforce would be highly beneficial but not necessary
  18. Knowledge of Google Apps, namely: Gmail, Google Calendar preferable, Microsoft
