Our client, a company specialising in serviced apartments, are seeking a Sales and Marketing manager to join their teaM. 

Duties:

  • Maintaining and increasing sales and revenue targets
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer base
  • Ensuring the needs of clients are being met
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Developing sales strategies and setting targets for the team
  • Recruiting and training sales and marketing staff
  • Monitoring your teams performance and motivating them to reach targets
  • Compiling and analysing sales figures
  • Collecting customer feedback and market research
  • Keeping up to the date with products and competitors
  • Compiling, agreeing and liaising with revenue, reservations and front of house teams on forthcoming promotions
  • Leading the topline preparation of the annual sales budget / targets
  • Providing proposals for the adaptation of the long-term and short-term hotel strategy
  • Consulting and implementing daily pricing recommendations and control inventory and distribution channels whilst implementing and communicating minimum stay, closed to arrival, up-selling
  • Supporting functional projects, initiatives and implementations
  • Proactively conducting detailed analytics and dynamic forecasting to provide fact-based insights into the business and to support strategic planning, decision making and business cases and to measure business performance against targets and performance gaps.
  • Ensuring that sales and pricing strategies are based on sound commercial judgment through effective analysis and reporting
  • Ensuring effective information gathering and analysis is conducted in order to identify and maximize opportunities with least risks
  • Implementing all blackout dates and reviews frequently to determine if adjustments are needed 
  • Reviewing end of month statistics reports to provide critical analysis on performance vs. forecasts and results of implemented strategies at monthly HOD meetings
  • Reviewing all tentative and definite group bookings to ensure they support the implemented
  • Analysing past and present trends and makes recommendations for future strategies
  • Reviewing Demand Calendars, convention calendars and city event calendars to keep abreast of all demand generators on a weekly basis.
