Business Development & Marketing Executive

My client are an innovative, not-for-profit organisation who support the growth of small businesses across West and South Yorkshire. A continued growth in new business, and a strong marketing presence are both essential to maximising business opportunities for my client, and the existing members of the organisation. My client has assembled a unique group of highly successful business people​ to help its members who are ambitious owners of businesses which opens up a fantastic range of contacts for the successful applicant.

The successful candidate will have sales and marketing experience, be comfortable in a sales environment, and will be looking to combine this experience to establish a true career in building a growing network. Some business generation and maintenance will be face to face and between the Leeds and Sheffield areas so the successful candidate must be able to drive and have his/her own car - all driving expenses will be covered by the business!

The Business Development and Marketing Executive will:
·Generate sales leads, and attend new sales meetings
·Gather thorough information on new members to target approaches for new business as accurately as possible
·Drive regular engagement through Social Media (LinkedIn, Twitter and others)
·Drive email campaigns to new and existing members, ensuring content is interesting/helpful
·Engage with prospective members over the phone
·Attract prospective members to attend events and master-classes
·Manage the CRM system with updated membership progress
·Work with/ report into Operations Director to progress/close sales

The Business Development and Marketing Executive will:
·Be positive, confident and proactive
·Gladly work to targets - sales/marketing is a competitive environment and an ambitious individual will have no problem achieving goals and being accountable for their achievement
·Be comfortable working in a team, respecting everybody's role within the office
·Confidently communicate daily with CEO's and Directors of companies
·Have ambitions to maximise earning potential within West and South Yorkshire territories

This job is commutable from Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, and most areas in Yorkshire
