Senior Business Development Executive

This top 20 international law firm is at the cutting edge in a number of niche areas including shipping, insurance and international trade.  Most importantly it takes marketing and business development seriously with marketing being represented at board level and a growing team that has been transformed in recent years into a strategic function.

In this brand new Senior Business Development role you will be part of a small but dedicated business development team where you can be close to the partnership and really make a difference.  You will drive the firm’s key account management programme, taking a lead role in developing account plans and working with the partners to develop their client relationships and cross-sell.  You will also work with sector and practice group teams to develop and implement targeting initiatives to develop new clients.  You will undertake market and client research and analysis and also work on firm wide business development projects.  You will also lead on bids and proposals and play an advisory role to partners.

You will have a proven track record in business development within a professional services environment, ideally within a law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a business development executive with some exposure to planning and leading on initiatives to take a step up to the next level.
