Marketing Services Manager - Financial Services

£50,000-£54,000 + bens

Our client, a growing and successful Financial Services organisation, is looking for an experienced Marketing Services/Creative Services/Marketing Operations from either the Financial Services sector or from a regulated industry.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of marketing communications by the in-house studio team. You will provide a central creative studio service for the marketing strategy and planning team. You will manage two direct reports initially.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the marketing delivery team to provide briefs to time, quality and cost through a robust project management approach.
  • Manage the planning and allocation of work across the team so resource is used appropriately and effectively.
  • Manage the workflow and production processes, maintaining team wide procedures as required such as planning, budgeting, content updates or operation manual processes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholder to support the delivery of marketing activity.
  • Promote the delivery of campaigns to industry best practice and develop a culture of continuous improvement to ensure high quality outputs.
  • Work with the content manager, copywriter and web editor to deliver high quality content that meets the requirements of the content strategy.
  • Manage external suppliers where outsourcing is required (eg.designers, copywriters, photographers etc)
  • Support the team with technical expertise and guidance including digital, video and print production

Experience required:

  • Strong current/recent experience in managing marketing operations / marketing services or creative services, from either financial services or a regulated industry
  • Experience in delivery of marketing campaigns (both online and offline)
  • Experience of running an in-house creative or design team
  • Experience in using digital channels and managing digital marketing operations (essential)
  • Experience in managing print production
  • Solid people management (with experience managing small teams)
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experienced using CRM systems.
  • Experience of planning, managing budgets and operational risks.
