Brand Manager

We are working with a global FMCG company to assist in their search for an additional Brand Manager to work with the SBM on their flagship brand and lead on a challenger brand within their portfolio.  There is also a very good assistant brand manager within the team.

There is a lot of focus on innovation within the company and lots of opportunity as a result, they are a hungry business looking for acquisition and developing new brands.

Important must haves are experience of the full TTL marketing mix and FMCG experience.  Personality wise you need to be positive, have lots of drive, a can do attitude, likeability, be able to command a room, have warmth, and be friendly and collaborative.

To lead the annual planning process, draft brand plans, and present these to the business for the challenger brand and support the SBM to develop the flagship brand plans

Support the SBM to deliver the flagship brand plans and manage the implementation of the challenger consumer brand plans, liaising with external agencies to ensure all activity is completed on time, to budget and is in line with the brand guidelines and brand positioning.

Monitor and report on brand performance through analysis of market data (in conjunction with category team) and sales data (using internal data sources) and recommend remedial action as required

Propose requirements for research and write research briefs, analyse results and recommend course of action

Project manage cross functional teams to deliver new products to market

To be the custodian of the brand values and the central contact point for all information regarding the challenger brand internally and with external stakeholders

To work in close consultation and partnership with the sales and operations team and external agencies as appropriate to implement the plans.
