Account Director - Buzzing  London agency - major entertainment account - up to £60k

A fantastic opportunity for a bright and energetic, enthusiastic and motivated Account Director with a passion for TV, film and sport to join an upbeat, collaborative London agency as a key member of their largest account team working for a leading entertainment client.

The role:

You will be part of a team of 4/5 working on the agency’s longest established and key account.  Reporting directly into the Business Director and with line management responsibility for an Account Manager, you will take responsibility for the agency relationship and delivery in a few key areas of the account including Customer Value Management & Retention.

Projects are often strategic ranging from behaviour changing, perception shifting to the most high profile communication and usually end with “different” creative work, that’s got a focus from the client’s Exec board level. In amongst this there are smaller strategic and creative projects to deliver too, that the Account Manager would take ownership of.

As Account Director you will be a big part in taking ownership of the Agency output ensuring it all meets the high standards expected. This could be a strategic piece, a high profile customer communication, a launch of a new product or stand out creative to change how customers behave.

The person:

You should be a person who’s happy to work on their own initiative and is looking for a role that you can get stuck into from day one, and make a difference to their account, account team and for the client.

You must have direct/CRM/BTL experience, and have a passion for TV, Movies and/or Sport.

You should be someone who engages brilliantly with people internally and externally, and is as comfortable with the strategic side of marketing, as the creative and delivery.

Internally you need to need to be hugely collaborative with the creative & planning teams to deliver best in class CRM for the client, and with the rest of the account handling team to be resource planning across the account. You will be a bastion of excellence – both strategically and creatively, and with regards to the team’s output.

Externally you need to be comfortable and confident interacting with people of all levels from clients, to other partner suppliers. Overall you need to be charming and polite, exceptionally buttoned down, and an expert in their area in order to build confidence with the client.
