Our client is one of the most successful design agencies in the Nottinghamshire region and boasts an enviable client base within the retail sector.
They are looking to recruit a Design Team Leader for one of the agency's key retail clients to lead on and deliver the creative output for key project briefs. The successful candidate will have proven experience of working across the retail sector and consumer brands and have an excellent understanding of branding along with experience of working within a busy design studio to tight deadlines. You must be able to handle complex projects with or without a team from concept to completion and take responsibility for owning and overseeing these creative projects, ensuring that work is consistently of a high standard. It goes without saying that you will be able to demonstrate a highly creative and varied portfolio.
To be responsible for the quality and effectiveness of a projects creative output.
To have a strong understanding of the brands for key clients, ensuring creative work is delivered to the client’s brand parameters.
To lead and/or participate in developing and delivering designs to meet clients’ objectives.
To direct designers in a way that transfers knowledge and expertise.
To support the Creative Director, lead client relationships and deputise whenever necessary.
Skills and experience
Demonstrate conceptual creative thinking at a high level.
Ability to storyboard concepts and thought processes, working collaboratively with the copywriting team.
Expertise in retail customer journey and creation, development and management of retail brand communication across all customer touch points.
Experienced in creation of brands, brand identity, customer communication and engagement.
Experienced in communicating with and presenting to clients at all levels.
Ability to organise and direct photoshoots.
