Our client are an established retailer operating within the exciting fitness and nutrition sector. They require a charismatic Digital Marketing Executive with bags of enthusiasm and a fantastic personality to working in an important marketing role that will in turn attract and drive sales as well as deliver and exceed targets. In this role they will rapidly build their skills in PPC, SEO, Social Media, affiliate marketing, promotion planning, website management and value added content. They are based in trendy, spacious offices with free car parking in a peaceful, rural surroundings of Cheshire, away from the hustle and bustle.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Executive

  • Implementation and maintenance of online promotional activities
  • Monitor PPC performance and work hard to improve metrics
  • Drive SEO performance through back links and optimising keywords and on page content
  • By process track, review and optimise product feed data and performance
  • Work hard with outreach activities to build influencing community
  • Improve conversion rates focusing on the best user experiences
  • Set up online pricing, products online , product descriptions etc. are up to date and correct
  • Support offline campaigns and activities through online activation
  • Report and analyse performance using analytic tools such as Google Analytics
  • Build and develop key affiliate relationships focused on driving website performance
  • Manage email marketing activities and database segmentation
  • To enhance customer retention rates develop a solid CRM programme
  • Brief, test and analyse new ideas to support overall website development
  • Keep a close eye on competitors and use this to create ideas
  • Have a passion for the latest development and advances in digital and introduce these to team

Skills and attributes

  • A background in ecommerce marketing that builds revenue and growth
  • Have education, theory and experience of marketing
  • Have polished communication skills
  • Driven and self-motivated with aspirations to grow and succeed within the business
  • Highly work proud and picky about perfection and high quality output
  • Experience in who marketing mix would be highly advantageous
  • An awareness of the health and fitness would be a great advantage
  • Highly organised and able to manage own workload
