Are you a manager who is ready to lead a world class department for a leading media brand?

The Account Director is key to the delivery of departmental operations. They will strive for perfect delivery and exceptional results for clients. They will equip their managers with the best skills and tools to deliver the strategy and high performing teams. They will be fluent in SEO and Organic search and this will build their overall digital and marketing campaign skills.

Responsibilities of the Account Director

  • The daily delivery of excellent client accounts
  • Sign off excellent content strategies and implementation plans that deliver excellent customer campaign results that constantly raise the bar for competitors
  • Be an inspirational and motivating and set high standards and a precedence of excellence
  • Bring people with you and gain their buy in through influencing, coaching and developing them and creating your 'legacy' person
  • Be strategic and create strategies and plans that contribute towards both departmental and overall company targets, understanding the whole operation and the impact of own department on overall performance
  • Know the risks and understand financials and able to be strategic and knowledgeable of market and market climate
  • Have excellent industry connections and able to create department growth through maximising potential of new clients and gaining new customers and increasing market share

The person will

  • Have a thorough and up to date knowledge of SEO and the marketplaces and read daily the newest and most effective ways keeping knowledge up to date
  • Analytic have excellent reasoning skills and can make methodical decisions quickly and accurately
  • Creative, energetic and enthusiastic that will deliver impressive client campaigns and be measured through outstanding results
  • Be a strong communicator and encourage clear, transparent communication in departments as well as clutter free, organised processes, databases and offices to give an overall organised work environment
  • Have polished management skills and has a minimum of 5 years management experience in delivering a high performing team
